He holds an M.Sc. in macroeconomics and political science from the University of Copenhagen.

Course Description

The objective of this 1-day “Entering Foreign Markets” workshop is to give business development, marketing, sales and revenue generation professionals in the information technology a toolset for and the opportunity to review and discuss the issues related to penetrating international markets and grow global market share.

Based on real life case stories the workshop will provide a step-by-step process for identifying the most promising markets and bootstrap the approach required for winning the first customers and business partners.

The workshop uses the business model framework as defined by Alexander Osterwalder and applies the business model environment framework to identify the differences we must expect to meet as we move outside our domestic market.

The workshop will introduce the Ideal Market Profile framework that we can use to prioritize the many options available to us.

The workshop will then discuss how we build support for the buyer’s journey in a foreign market and finally, the workshop will discuss the budget and organizational requirements for successfully entering foreign markets.

The workshop will provide frameworks and tools, which the attendees can implement immediately after returning from the workshop.
