Radiant Zemax Acquires British Optima Research
Radiant Zemax (Redmond, WA., USA) has announced it has acquired Optima Research (Stansted, Cambs. UK).
Both Optima Research clients and existing Radiant Zemax partners can expect to benefit from the acquisition with expanded geographic support coverage times and increased local market support. Optima Research will continue to act as Europe’s local office for sales and support of Zemax 12 optical and illumination design software, and provide training in computer-based optical design methods.

The acquisition creates greater capabilities for Radiant Zemax to provide enhanced services and support to its European clients and distribution partners. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
