Jeeves Acquires Swedish Infocube
Jeeves acquires Infocube, one of its largest partners, thus strengthening Jeeves’ value proposition in the Swedish market.
Jeeves Information Systems AB, (Stockholm, Sweden) a leading developer of ERP systems for small and medium businesses within the manufacturing, distribution and service industries, have announced that it has closed on its acquisition of Infocube AB, (Gothenburg, Sweden) one of its largest partners. By acquiring Infocube, Jeeves moves to a dual distribution strategy in Sweden that now includes a direct channel.
Jeff Tognoni, CEO of Jeeves, said, “Jeeves has historically been an indirect software business sold primarily through partners. However, over the years, some of our customers and prospects have expressed an interest in having a direct relationship with us. While we will continue to offer a robust partner channel going forward, this acquisition provides Jeeves with a strong direct channel capability that was not available in Sweden in the past and offers a stronger value proposition to both new and existing customers. It significantly changes and accelerates our go-to-market strategy and expands our total addressable market (TAM). With the acquisition of Infocube, Jeeves gains a successful, mature service organization with a culture of excellence and experienced resources to serve those customers who prefer to have a direct relationship with us. Infocube’s capabilities include broad implementation experience with a proven methodology, a skilled customer support team, and an effective sales organization.”
Henrik Engberg, CEO of Infocube, said; “This is a natural stage for Infocube to combine our two companies, offering growth and opportunities for our employees and increasing our capabilities to serve Jeeves customers. By combining the expertise of Jeeves’ product development force with Infocube’s implementation and customer development skills, the customer offerings are strengthened in all ways.”
