ReadSoft Selected as a Microsoft Global ISV
In direct response to the increased market penetration of its Microsoft Dynamics AX-integrated Accounts Payable (AP) solution, ReadSoft has been selected by Microsoft to be a Globally Managed Independent Software Vendor (ISV).
ReadSoft (Helsingborg, Sweden), will gain additional development, marketing and sales support from Microsoft globally which will further strengthen the adoption of financial process automation built on Microsoft Dynamics AX. The ReadSoft/Microsoft Dynamics solution, the first hybrid cloud AP solution built on Windows Azure, is an out-of-the-box application that automates the collection and extraction of supplier invoice data and integrates with Microsoft Dynamics AX for invoice review, exception handling and payment processing. The joint solution provides ease of implementation, unprecedented security and scalability, and proven ROI by minimizing labor-intensive and error-prone tasks associated with the processing of invoices.
To illustrate, Netherlands-based Hanze University of Applied Sciences struggled with misplaced invoices, lack of accountability and rampant errors due to manually processing 40,000 invoices per year. The university now scans, captures and verifies invoices in ReadSoft’s web interface and transfers the data to its Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system. “ReadSoft’s integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX is seamless,” reports Jean-Paul Heunks, Head of Finance at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. “Our users quickly accepted it and we now have complete control over the flow of incoming invoices – the whole process runs more smoothly and efficiently.”
“After years of significant investment and hard work with the Azure and Dynamics teams, Microsoft’s endorsement of ReadSoft as a Global ISV is quite affirming,” remarks Lars Appelstal, CTO at ReadSoft. “Microsoft has been an important partner to ReadSoft for more than twenty years, and continues to be part of our development strategy. I fully expect our partnership to yield mutually beneficial results as ReadSoft continues to build market-leading hybrid cloud solutions for financial process automation and multichannel document process automation solutions.”
ReadSoft Embraces Windows 8.1 Devices and Services Strategy
As testament to ReadSoft’s commitment to Microsoft’s devices and services strategy, ReadSoft is making available ReadSoft Online Approve and XBOUND System Monitor on Windows 8.1, Microsoft’s latest version of its market-leading Windows operating system. Both applications serve as forerunners of a rich set of functionality that ReadSoft plans to deliver in the future and are specifically designed to leverage Windows 8.1 ease-of-use features, giving users the ability to use touch screens and mobile devices to easily and intuitively manage document processes.
“Microsoft app developers have always provided rich functionality and value for our shared customers, and Windows 8 gives them the platform to deliver,” said John Richards, Senior Director, Windows Business Development. “The re-imagining of Windows keeps our app developers ahead of the competition and gives our shared customers flexibility and choice.”
