Swedish Hexagon acquires Canadian MicroSurvey

Hexagon AB (Stockholm, Sweden) has entered into an agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of MicroSurvey Software (Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada), an Independent Software Provider in the area of surveying and mapping software for the land surveying, construction, and forensic markets.

Founded in 1975, Hexagon is a global Independent Software Vendor providing integrated design, measurement and visualisation technologies. The company have over 12 000 employees in more than 40 countries and net sales of about 2 200 MEUR. Class B shares are quoted on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm’s Large Cap list (HEXA B) and SIX Swiss Exchange (HEXN).
